Dr Patra is an experienced and patient tutor. I have been tutoring with him for the whole year of Year 12. My SAC results were excellent. Without the assistant of Dr Patra. I wouldn't be able to achieve the high SAC mark. I am confident to recommend Dr Patra to students who ever need extra assistance in Chemistry. |

VCE Chemistry is a challenging subject, especially with all the required memorisation and knowledge retention for the VCE exam. Dr Patra is totally involved with your child's VCE chemistry learning, in the zoom, in person classes and the one to one tutoring. As a parent sitting in a number of classes, I was privileged to see his dedication and fully knowledge of the VCE curriculum. All of this helped my son achieve a good 2022 VCE result. Definitely recommend Dr Patra for your VCE chemistry student. |

Dr Patra is a very committed and knowledgeable tutor. He has helped me immensely improve my knowledge in chemistry throughout years 11 and 12, through his clear and thorough explanation of content, and valuable resources and materials. He frequently held topic tests and revision lessons before SACs and the final exam, and provided insightful, detailed feedback which I found very helpful for my progression throughout the year. Dr Patra teaches my daughter who is currently in year 12. I have never met a tutor who is so committed to his students like Dr Patra. He is highly knowledgeable, organised and caring. I am writing this review as a parent of a VCE student currently being tutored by Dr Patra. Dr Patra is a very knowledgeable and passionate teacher . He is very keen to ensure that all students excel in their academic journey. He provided lots of resources , materials and made sure that my daughter understands all concepts.He also keeps very clear and transparent communication with the parents and ensures we know our child’s progress. I am writing as a parent of a VCE student tutored by Dr S Patra for chemistry. Soumendra is extremely passionate about chemistry and really wants all of his students to excel. He is able to adjust the homework burden as per the ambitions and capabilities of each student. He gives extra classes and tutorial; there are a lot of mock exams. He thoroughly goes through the Book and Checkpoint and finally goes through various past critical questions from vendors’ paper. Attending Mr Patra's class really helped me to stay on track with my progress and I
gradually see improvement in my Chemistry results. He provides students with many
wider knowledge that we can't learn from textbooks or in school. Mr Patra is also very
helpful in terms of the preparation for my SAC, he replies messages sent as soon as
possible, sets test and exams questions do to under exam conditions and gives tips on
how to write a full mark explainations. Mr Patra is also very engaging and enthutiastic

Soumendra is a gold mine to find. He has gone above and beyond as a tutor.
His knowledge, expertise,advice and guidance is invaluable. He brings multiple
resources to lessons from various sources that aims to clarify and consolidate any
