North Ryde, Sydney

Dr Kate Barry Sydney Tutor in Biology, Maths

I am a university lecturer with experience in teaching at all levels - secondary, tertiary, large lectures, small tutorial groups and one-on-one sessions. My teaching philosophy is to enthusiastically help students acquire the skills and confidence to achieve their academic goals. I strive to transform students and help them see the world from the perspective of a scientist and/or mathematician. I consistently receive positive feedback from students and have won two teaching awards at Macquarie University for innovative delivery and assessment practices.
