Melbourne Tutor in Chemistry
(13 student reviews)
I am an experienced, patient and encouraging tutor and have been tutoring for 16 years. I have a doctorate in Chemistry from the University of Melbourne and 1st Class Honours from the University of Surrey, UK.
I have been tutoring chemistry (and formerly French) for 16 years and have tutored
primary, VCE and International Baccalaureate and mature-age students.
I aim to provide a comfortable environment where you feel supported regardless of
where you are at in understanding the subject. With individual tuition, I will help you
to improve your knowledge in a personalised way and to get a deeper and better
understanding of the subject in the areas that you need. My style is about helping a
student's confidence and thinking skills as well as knowledge of the subject.
I encourage you to ask questions at will, and allow you learn at your own pace,
focussing especially on the topics you need help with. You will increase your
proficiency through supervised practice tailored to your specific needs.
I attempt to help you understand the subject comprehensively, encourage you,
answer your questions and inform you about what the exams require, from
keywords to avoiding common traps.
