Dr Carl Masens

STRATHFIELD, Sydney

Dr Carl Masens Sydney Tutor in Physics

I can offer students insights into physics and into the Physics HSC in a way that emphasises mastery as opposed to memorising.

Students are constantly challenged by higher order questions designed to make them think and understand. I look for misconceptions and help untangle them in a way that build success.

I am available on Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings. I charge $75/hr for individuals and $100/hr for groups of two. Larger groups I cannot give proper attention to, so if you really need help then I'm your man.

I am offering you tuition, so I will not be lecturing you but rather working with you to discover your strengths and weaknesses as a physics student. Sessions will include me setting you questions both written and verbal and then addressing issues that arise from these. I will ask you about your school tasks and assist you to develop the tools you need to be able to submit high quality work. <b>I will not do your work for you<b>, so don't ask me to.

I prefer students to come to my house - parents are welcome to stay to satisfy themselves that children are safe.
